Precious photos
As a photography hobbyist, I try to capture kids in their perfect happy moments. But I realized that sometimes the most memorable, precious photos are the ones where they're sad, disappointed, cranky, annoyed, or angry.
Angel was scolded for being very naughty, so she just stood there being sad, waiting for us to "sayang" her. When mama finally said "come here", she burst out in tears. After that she noticed my camera and said "Daddy don't take picture".
These photos are hardly technically perfect or portfolio worthy, but they show what Angel (or any other kid) really is like. I will look back at these photos with a warm feeling in my heart.

Happy new year
Third year in row Angel fell asleep before I could bring her out to see the new year fireworks, so I went to Sengkang Wetland alone again. This time I decided to forgo the tripod and try to include people in my shots.
Before I left, I surveyed the area and found some spots where I could better get the kind of shots I want. Will definitely be back here again end of this year :)
