Sticky and naughty

Got back home today feeling tired, so immediately I laid down on the bed, wanting to take a nap even though it was already 8pm. As usual, Angel pushed the door open, stuck on to me and started disturbing me.

She made me do "horsy horsy" so that she could ride on me. I went back to sleeping position after that, then she stuck her forehead on to mine and kept saying "patient patient" (I think) and kept laughing because she knew she was disturbing me and not letting me sleep.

Part of me wants her to go out of the room and leave me in peace, but part of me wants this to continue forever.

I love you, Angel.

Cold Storage Kids Run

Last year it was our first try at Kids Run, and Angel refused to run and insisted to be carried all the way.

This year, we decided to give it another go. This time, Angel ran the whole distance, and I think she finally understood the meaning of achievement when she received her medal. She even wore the medal around the house and to the playground all day.

So very proud of her.

Shy girl

While fetching Angel from her art class, I found her laughing at a boy's jokes while they were watching cartoons together.

Angel is incredibly shy with other people, she often doesn't respond to others. Like all parents, I like to see how my child is doing when I'm not with her, but I don't always get this chance. This is certainly a heart warming scene for me.
